Lynn!
I'm still kickin'. As a matter of fact, last week the wife and I went out in Wyboo for the afternoon for the first time in as long as I can remember, and it was the darndest thing; Our first stop, we dropped anchor and started putting out lines. Before we had all 12 out, it was FISH ON!
It was like that for about 4 hours, and we caught about 40 cats between 20 and 45 lbs. We even caught 2 "Lynn fish" (stripers) in the mix.
What a day!
For those of you wanting details, we caught them all in 18 feet of water, dropped straight down ONLY $ FEET FROM THE SURFACE. Bait was threadfins we castnetted right there.

On another note, I am needing to get some stuff done to my pontoon as far as making it more accessable to me. My health continues to deteriorate and it's getting hard to move much at all, board and exit, and even sit. I want to fix things a bit so I can do all the fishin' I can for now, 'cause .....well, enough said.
Any reccomendations as far as who could find me a cool captain's chair and move around a few things on my floorplan?

Happy Bob put a hanging rack on it a year ago and his work is to die for, but I tried calling him, and he might be doing different things with his time after this long, because I didn't hear back from him.

If you know someone you know I can trust, then let me know. I look at emails all the time, so chefjim4u@msn.com works.

And Lynn! Are you EVER gonna come up and fish for a day with us?
I promise if you do, I'll even show you where the stripers are all stacked up on the little rockpile where they rest on their way upriver this time of year.

Man, it is good to hear from you! I am glad that you are still catching them slimy fish! I wish that I could get away and head up there. I promise that if I get time I will make that trip! I will take you up on the offer of you showing me your pet striper!
You take care of yourself, catch plenty of kitties, and keep me (and all of us) posted!!

Keep your head up, and remember, God is in control!!
You are always in my prayers!!

Chef Jim,

If you are refering to Bob that had the shop in St. Matthews, I think I read on CF.com that he closed his shop. I could be mistaken.
