We caught three dozen 12" baits and a couple more 21"+ baits(bonito). Dropped the two bonito down to the bottom and started trolling. Less than 10 minutes after that we were hooked up. 20 minutes and severals runs later she was in the boat!

Thanks Rick. Cam got a bigger one a couple years back but this one is still a monster.(Maybe I'll get you next time Cam!) The only larger fish I have ever caught was a sail in Costa back in March. I firmly believe the fish are just plain bigger on the Pacific side than on the Caribbean side. The yellowfin tuna get to over 300 pounds there! The cool thing was later in the day the mate let me fish the rod while trolling and I ended up hooking two on my own. One got off after about five or ten minutes and we landed the other. This was the trip of a lifetime for me.

That's a nice Rooster fish, Shawn. Great job! I'll bet that was a good fight.
